Talking about possibility 可能性 kě néng xìng |
The question form:
When we ask something about possibilities, we will use the words “wui5” (會) and “bat1 wui5” (不會) to help us to form the question. Question pattern: Subject + “wui5 bat1 wui5” (會不會) + verb? Or Subject + “wui5” (會) + verb + “maa1” (嗎) ? e.g. Nei5 wui5 bat1 wui5 heoi3? (你會不會去?) |
When you answer, you have to use the correct word according to the degree of possibility to indicate clearly whether you will go or not:
